The Search for Data link searches the metadata repository for data or services maintained by state, local and federal agencies or the inventory of geospatial data among local agencies. The success of the portal search depends on participation from geospatial professionals in Colorado. Please publish your metadata or create rudimentary metadata by registering as a user for the portal. After registering, login and proceed to "Manage My Profile," and enter at least your email address and organization. Then request permission to publish metadata through the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. The Portal administrator will make you a publisher, and you will see "Upload Metadata" and "Create Metadata" links under "My Functions."
